Frequently asked questions
Is this a real VPAT?
It is a completed Accessibility Conformance Report using the ITI VPAT 2.5 template, the same form your buyer is asking for. You adopt and publish it as your own declaration, which is how every ACR works regardless of who drafts it. VPAT is ITI's trademark for the template; we use the format.
Who signs it?
You do. An Accessibility Conformance Report is the vendor's declaration about the vendor's product. We prepare the draft and state our method on it.
Is automated testing enough?
No, and we say so. Automated tools alone catch a fraction of failures, which is why every report includes a written analysis of each criterion, a human review before release, and a plain statement of what was and was not tested. Manual assistive-technology testing is not included.
What if my product is behind a login?
Give us a test account at checkout. It is encrypted in your browser to a key that only our testing service holds, used to log in, and deleted 30 days after delivery. Logins that require a code sent to a person's phone cannot be automated; those orders are refunded.
Which pages are tested?
Pages nearest your starting address first, discovered from your sitemap and internal links, up to the page cap of your order. Extra pages can be added at checkout. The report lists every page tested.
How long does it take?
Three business days from payment and, where a login is needed, from a working test account. Most orders are delivered sooner.
What if I disagree with a finding?
One free re-review within 14 days of delivery. Tell us what changed or what you disagree with; the same pages are re-tested and the documents re-issued as a new version.
Can you fix the problems too?
The remediation plan includes prioritised items with code-level guidance and snippets. Your developers do the fixing; we are not an agency.
Do you support Section 508 and EN 301 549?
Yes. The Section 508 and EN 301 549 editions of the report include the additional chapters and clauses in ITI's template, derived from the WCAG assessment, the document inspection and your answers about documentation and support.
Can a public entity pay by invoice?
Yes. Choose invoice at checkout; we send a Stripe invoice and a W-8BEN-E on request. Work starts on payment.
What is your refund policy?
Full refund if the crawl has not started or if your site is out of scope. After delivery there are no refunds; use the free re-review.
